Who am I?
Hi I'm Rachel. I'm 18 years old from Derbyshire England. I am currently studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Journalism and am in Year 2. I'm going on to study film or theatre at University to help me towards my aspirations of being an actor and presenter.

I grew up dancing and performing has been my dream in life since an age. I became a fan of motorsports as I watched it growing up and found my own passion for it. I absolutely love watching films and Tv and have a special love for K-dramas which has motivated my goal of making my own films and tv shows in the future. Pop music has been a massive part of my life as I grew up performing to it and I am a big K-pop fan. I also love fashion and love finding sustainable ways to be stylish.

What do I study?
Since September 2023 I have been studying Journalism. During my time on the course I have interviewed a politician, a musician, several racing drivers and more. I have made my own documentaries, articles and podcasts. I have learnt a lot from the course and gained valuable experience.

However, I am not progressing in journalism, and am choosing to follow a different career path, the skills I have gained are transferable and will inform the future work I do. I wish to be a presenter as well as an actor, and the course at Nottingham College has given me many chances to be on camera pursuing my passions and a love for documentaries. I hope that I can use my knowledge and confidence gained from my Journalism studies to help me succeed as an actor.

I am now focusing on creating a brand for myself as a face that people will be able to see on the big and small screen alike. I want to be an actor, presenter and filmmaker so I want to showcase that on my website.
