SWOT Analysis

STRENGTHS  +	WEAKNESSES  –
I am very knowledgeable about the subject. It is quite a hot subject in motorsport right now. I’ve already interviewed a driver and have received feedback from some drivers who couldn’t partake but loved the subject, and wished me well on the project.  My social media platform, tailored to this and I have posted content surrounding F1 Academy itself and have seen a demand for this type of content.	There is difficulty with access to interviewees and locations to film.  Skills in editing and ways to make this engaging and understandable for a wide audience that isn’t just fans of female racing drivers.  Making sure I have one clear question I want to answer and consider that throughout the whole process.
OPPORTUNITIES  +	THREATS  –
A lot are talking about the subject, most recently defending F1 world champion Max Verstappen talking about F1 Academy and what needs to happen to see women reach F1.  It will be a documentary which not many people in motorsports do, but will help engage people.  Access to drivers who haven’t had platforms and giving them a voice.  There is a demand for content about this subject, especially with F1 Academy now supporting F1, and the documentary will be released a few weeks before the 3rd round of the season.  Opportunity to promote on social media and gain some attraction to the short film.	Not getting enough footage from b-roll, interviews and archive footage. Low access.  My competition could have better access to interviewees and locations and inside knowledge. There is also competition over the platform I have, as it is smaller than some others so there may be less reach.  Could stray off-topic and consider a scope too broad that will make the process harder and not educate and inform audiences like it is intended to.
